Device to detect fake dollar bills
The photo shows a device to detect fake dollar bills unveiled Tuesday July 14 by Japan's Omron Corp. The company says the new product has a 99.8% accuracy rate in detecting ''Super K'' and other high-quality counterfeits of U.S. 100 dollar bills. It plans to begin exporting automatic teller machines (ATMs) incorporating the system later this year.
