U.S. concerned about rice import fall

Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Richard Fisher visits the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry in Tokyo on Jan. 26 to hold talks with Hideaki Kumazawa, Japan's vice farm minister for international affairs. Fisher said the United States is concerned about a possible fall in Japan's rice imports from the U.S. following Tokyo's decision to impose rice tariffs starting April 1.
