Obuchi chosen as one of Japan's 'Best Fathers'

Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi was among seven men chosen June 1 as a ''Best Father.'' The seven ''Yellow Ribbon Award'' recipients are (From L sitting) Hidesaburo Kagiyama, adviser at auto products retailer Yellow Hat, Prime Minister Obuchi, and Sony Corp. Chairman Norio Ohga. The recipients standing up are (From L) former Hanshin Tigers baseball star Masayuki Kakefu, TV personality Hirohide Yakumaru, film director and actor Naoto Takenaka, and singer Yukihide Takekawa. The awards are made annually before Father's Day, which falls on June 20 this year.
