Vote counting slow
Indonesia's ruling Golkar party Chairman Akbar Tanjung talks to reporters at his party headquarters in Jakarta on June 8. He said his party will ask the election commission to explain why the vote counting was so slow. With only less than 3 percent of the votes in Monday's election counted, Golkar was trailing third after the Indonesian Democratic Party for Struggle and the National Awakening Party.
