TOKOROZAWA, Japan - Yomiuri Giants slugger Hideki Matsui delivers a two-run blast in the sixth inning off Daiei Hawks southpaw Takayuki Shinohara in the first game of the Japanese baseball all-star series July 24 at Seibu Dome. Matsui's homer helped power the Central League stars to an 8-3 lead over the Pacific League after eight innings.
