Int'l confab in Hiroshima seeks nuke-free 21st century
HIROSHIMA, Japan - The Japan Congress Against A and H Bombs (Gensuikin) opens its annual international conference in Hiroshima on Aug. 2. Some 110 antinuclear advocates and academics, including 11 from abroad, took part in the two-day confab sponsored by Gensuikin, which is backed by the Social Democratic Party.
