Japanese rescue workers head for Turkey

NARITA, Japan - A team of 17 Japanese rescue workers leaves Narita airport for Turkey on Aug. 18. Their dispatch is in addition to 20 firefighters who departed the previous night. The second team included firefighters from Hyogo Prefecture who took part in the rescue operation in the wake of the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake that killed some 6,000 people.
