NEC, Mitsubishi tie up

TOKYO, Japan - Koji Nishigaki (R), president of NEC Corp., and Ichiro Taniguchi, president of Mitsubishi Electric Corp. shake hands at a news conference Sept. 24. They announced the two firms will jointly establish a company to develop, manufacture and sell liquid-crystal and cathode-ray tube display monitors for personal computers.
