Daiei Hawks clinch Japan's Pacific League pennant

FUKUOKA, Japan - Daiei Hawks manager Sadaharu Oh is lifted to the air by his players after the Hawks clinched the Pacific League pennant Sept. 25 night with a 5-4 victory over the Nippon Ham Fighters at Fukuoka Dome. It is the first league pennant for Daiei in the team's 11-year history.
