Hostage release talks set to start
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - Human rights activist Tursunbek Akunov (C) leaves for Pakistan on the afternoon of Sept. 25 with the aim of holding talks with representatives of Muslim guerrillas for the release of a group of hostages, including four Japanese, being held by the guerrillas, who are from neighboring Uzbekistan.
