Sony co-founder Akio Morita dies at age 78
TOKYO, Japan - File photo of Akio Morita, one of the world's best-known businessmen and co-founder of Sony Corp., who died of pneumonia Oct. 3 morning at a hospital in Tokyo. He was 78. The photo, taken in May 1991, shows Morita and his wife Yoshiko posing for photographers after he was decorated by the emperor.
