Freed Kyrgyz policemen say Japanese hostages are safe
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - Two Kyrgyz policemen released by Muslim rebels tell a local television Oct 14 that four Japanese hostages still being held looked to be in good health. The two policemen were freed along with three other Kyrgyz nationals -- two other policemen and one soldier -- after being held captive by the armed rebels for about 50 days.
