Freed Kygyz interpreter smiles with son
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - Omurbek Zhanakeev smiles with his son in Bishkek on Oct. 26. Zhanakeev was freed along with four Japanese mining engineers after being held hostage for two months by Islamic rebels in Central Asia. Kyrgyz-born Zhanakeev worked as an interpreter for the four.
