World cedar forum to open in Imaichi, Tochigi Pref.

UTSUNOMIYA, Japan - Officials of municipalities in Japan and the United States will gather at a forum Tuesday to discuss environment preservation through protection of cedars in the city of Imaichi, Tochigi Prefecture, forum organizer said Saturday. The photo shows the road lined with cedar trees in the city, which is entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's longest tree-lined road, with a total of 37 kilometers long.
