Indonesia plans to develop free trade zone in Aceh
SABANG, Indonesia - The photo shows Sabang Island, Indonesia. The Indonesian government plans to develop Sabang Island in troubled Aceh Province as a free trade zone in an attempt to prevent Aceh from going independent. Jakarta also plans to develop the area's social infrastructure in five years from next year, using 551 billion rupiah (78.5 million U.S. dollars) for roads, harbors and airports.
