More than 10,000 feared dead in Venezuela disaster
CARACAS, Venezuela - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez (R with microphone) talks to survivors from mud slides and floods caused by torrential rain in Caracas on Dec. 20. Avalanches of water, mud and boulders, triggered by several days of torrential rain, wiped out neighborhoods along Venezuela's northern coast. More than 10,000 people are feared dead.
