TOKYO, Japan - Air Shakur (No. 16), jockeyed by Yutaka Take, holds off a late challenge by Daitaku Riva (No. 8) on April 16 to win the Satsuki-sho, the first leg of Japan's triple crown series for 3-year-olds, at Nakayama Racecourse in Chiba Prefecture. He clocked 2 minutes, 1.8 seconds to win the 2,000-meter race by a neck.
