Fukuoka zoo breeds endangered Japanese wildcats
FUKUOKA, Japan - Photos show the female (top) and male (bottom) of an endangered species of Japanese wildcat that gave birth to a litter of cubs for the first time in captivity at the Fukuoka Municipal Zoo and Botanical Garden on April 18. Tsushima yamaneko as the wildcat is called is a protected species native to the island of Tsushima in Nagasaki Prefecture.
