Relatives mark 6th anniversary of CAL crash in Nagoya

NAGOYA, Japan - The photo shows relatives of victims of the April 1994 China Airlines (CAL) crash that killed 264 people holding a service on April 26 at a memorial they built near the crash site at Nagoya airport. Marking the sixth anniversary of the crash, about 500 mourners, both Japanese and Taiwanese, offered flowers at the memorial, located in the city of Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture. Of the dead, 147 were Japanese nationals, while most of the others were from Taiwan. CAL is a Taiwanese carrier.
