Japan, EU agree to highlight IT at G-8 summit
ROME, Italy - Japan's Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori (L) and European Commission President Romano Prodi (R) pose for photographers prior to their talks in Rome on May 1. They agreed that the Group of Eight (G-8) leaders should discuss information technology during their summit meeting in Okinawa in July. Mori visited Rome as the second leg of his nine-day tour of G-8 partners to seek their cooperation in the Okinawa summit.
