N., S. Korea fail to agree on summit procedures
PANMUNJOM - Yang Young Shik (front right), South Korea's chief delegate to a third round of preparatory talks with North Korea for an unprecedented June summit, sits across from Kim Ryung Sung (far left), a senior councilor in the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly who headed the North Korean delegation, at Freedom House on the southern side of the Korean truce village of Panmunjom. The two negotiators failed to reach an agreement May 3 on procedures for the summit, but agreed to hold the next talks May 8 at Unification Pavilion, which is located on Panmunjom's northern side.
