Japanese fact-finding team leaves for Sumatra
NARITA, Japan - A Japanese fact-finding team prepares to leave Narita airport June 5 for Indonesia's earthquake-hit Bengkulu Province in southern Sumatra to identify needs for emergency assistance. One representative each from the Foreign Ministry and the Japan International Cooperation Agency departed for Jakarta, where they will join two employees of the Japanese Embassy and head June 6 for areas devastated by the earthquake.
