H.K. teachers protest 'insulting' language exam
HONG KONG, China - About 6,000 schoolteachers in Hong Kong take to the streets June 10 to protest a government proposal to introduce an examination aimed at gauging their ability to speak and write English and Mandarin. The teachers marched silently to the Hong Kong government headquarters. They called the proposal ''insulting.''
