ADELAIDE, Australia - A group of Japanese retailers and restaurant owners stages a rally July 3 in Adelaide, Australia, to express its support for the Japanese government's opposition to a proposed South Pacific whale sanctuary, which is backed by Australia and New Zealand. The International Whaling Commission opened its annual conference in Adelaide.
