Elderly ladies make picture-perfect blushing brides

KITAKYUSHU, Japan - Elderly women arrayed in wedding dresses beam during a photo session in Kitakyushu, southwestern Japan, on July 5. Organizers said the photo event was aimed at restoring the spirit of youth among the ladies, aged 75 to 90. The eldest is Sono Akiyama (far L) from Kitakyushu's Tobata Ward.
