Murofushi sets record in Nambu memorial meet
SAPPORO, Japan - Hammer thrower Koji Murofushi sets a Japanese national record July 16 at the Nambu memorial track and field meet, the final domestic qualifying event for the Sydney Olympics in September. He extended his own record for the third time this year when he threw 80.56 meters at Maruyama athletics stadium.
