Technician adjusts new timing system for Olympics

SYDNEY, Australia - A technician on Aug. 16 adjusts a new timing system developed for the Sydney Olympic Games by official timekeeper Swatch. A microchip in the shoes of marathon athletes is expected to provide spectators with information on competitors faster and enhance their enjoyment of the events.
