Japan's Prime Minister Mori arrives in India
BANGALORE, India - Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori (R) arrives in the southern Indian city of Bangalore on Aug. 21 at the start of a five-day visit to the country, the third leg of his weeklong tour of four South Asian countries. Mori, the first Japanese prime minister to visit India in a decade, was greeted by Kartanaka Chief Minister S.M. Krishna at the airport after arriving from Pakistan aboard a government jet. He will make a half-day trip to Nepal on Aug. 25 before returning to Japan.
