John Lennon Museum opens with widow Ono cutting ribbon
YONO, Japan - The world's first museum dedicated to the late John Lennon, the John Lennon Museum, opened in the Saitama Super Arena in Yono, north of Tokyo, on Oct. 9, the 60th anniversary of the birth of the singer-songwriter. Artist Yoko Ono (wearing glasses), Lennon's widow, cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony, which was also attended by Saitama Gov. Yoshihiko Tsuchiya (L).
