Lawyers to submit petitions for judicial reforms
TOKYO, Japan - Lawyers load petitions calling for reform of Japan's judicial system onto a truck Oct. 11 to send them to a government deliberative council on judicial reforms. The Japan Federation of Bar Associations said that the petitions signed by some 1.39 million people, bring the signatures to 2.59 million, as petitions with 1.2 signatures were submitted in August.
