Ehime residents lose suit over gov't approval of nuke reactor
MATSUYAMA, Japan - A group of local residents walk into the Matsuyama District Court on Dec. 15 to hear the ruling on a lawsuit they filed to cancel the central government's 1977 approval of construction of a new reactor at Shikoku Electric Power Co.'s Ikata nuclear power plant in Ehime Prefecture, western Japan. The residents lost the lawsuit.
