U.N. to stay in E. Timor after independence: Ramos-Horta

DAVOS, Switzerland - Jose Ramos-Horta, cabinet member for foreign affairs in the East Timor Transitional Administration, speaks to Kyodo News reporters Jan. 29 in Davos, Switzerland. He said U.N. peacekeepers are set to remain in East Timor for at least two years after the territory gains independence. Ramos-Horta was attending an annual summit of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
