Mori fails to apologize for golfing after Hawaii accident
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, attending a House of Representatives Budget Committee session Feb. 19, stopped short of apologizing to the public for continuing a golf game Feb. 10 for two hours after learning of a fatal collision off Hawaii between the Japanese fisheries training ship Ehime Maru and the U.S. nuclear sub Greeneville. Nine out of 35 people aboard the Ehime Maru went missing and are feared dead.
