Hawaiians hold traditional rites for missing Japanese
HONOLULU, United States - Citizens of Honolulu on March 4 contribute lines for nine Japanese missing in the Feb. 9 sinking of the Ehime Maru off Hawaii by a U.S. submarine. Later they held traditional Hawaiian ceremonies to invoke guardian spirits ''to bring comfort and guidance to those who remain lost at sea until they are reunited with their families.''
