Ex-Defense Agency chief Mihara dies at 91
FUKUOKA, Japan - Former Defense Agency Director General Asao Mihara (file photo) died March 7 of multiple organ failure at a Fukuoka Prefecture hospital. He was 91. The former lawmaker of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party also held the posts of education minister and Okinawa Development Agency director general before retiring from politics in 1986.
