Wahid may only last until Aug., Megawati aide says
JAKARTA, Indonesia - Arifin Panigoro, deputy chairman of Indonesia's largest political party, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-Perjuangan), speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Jakarta on March 6. He said Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid, who insists he will serve a full term until 2004 despite growing calls for his resignation, will be lucky to last through August.
