Chinese pilot's wife sends letter of protest to Bush
BEIJING, China - A postman shows reporters April 7 an envelope containing a protest letter to U.S. President George W. Bush from Ruan Guoqin, the wife of a Chinese pilot who went missing when his fighter collided with a U.S. spy plane April 1. The postman delivered the letter to the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, where the reporters had assembled. Ruan denounced Bush and his administration for failing to apologize for the incident.
