Kamei says consumption tax cut should be studied

TOKYO, Japan - Shizuka Kamei, policy chief of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), speaks in an interview with the media. He said he will study the possibility of cutting the consumption tax from 5% if he wins the party's presidential race scheduled for April 24.
