World Cup commemorative stamps to be sold in Japan
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows postage stamps commemorating the 2002 World Cup finals, which will go on sale at post offices across Japan from May 31 to June 28. The government said April 20 that a total of 30 million stamps will be available for 90 yen apiece, which includes a 10 yen donation for the soccer event to be co-hosted by Japan and South Korea. The stamps, available in three designs, feature the official mascots of the World Cup.
