APEC trade ministers begin two-day talks

SHANGHAI, China - Trade ministers from 21 Pacific Rim economies kick off a two-day meeting in Shanghai on June 6. The participants are expected to agree to push for the launch in November in Qatar of a new round of trade liberalization talks under the World Trade Organization (WTO).
