Panel proposes increasing people in legal profession
TOKYO, Japan - Koji Sato, chairman of the government's Judicial Reform Council, speaks at a news conference June 12 after his panel presented a final report to Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, calling for increasing the number of judges, prosecutors and lawyers to approximately 50,000 people by around 2018.
