Sumitomo, Nissho Iwai to ally in LNG business

TOKYO, Japan - Shiro Sasutake (R), president of Nissho Iwai Corp. and Naoki Kuroda, vice president of Sumitomo Corp., shake hands June 20 at a news conference in Tokyo. They announced the two companies have agreed to ally in the liquefied natural gas business to survive global competition.
