OAKLAND, United States - Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki (C) runs to first base after hitting a single to left in the sixth inning against the Oakland Athletics at Network Associates Coliseum on June 20. Ichiro went 2-for-5, singling twice and scoring on Edgar Martinez's homer in the sixth. Ichiro leads the American League with 112 hits and has the second highest batting average at .352, behind Manny Ramirez of the Boston Red Sox (.354). The Mariners lost the game 6-4.
