Confab on global aging starts at Tokyo hotel

TOKYO, Japan - Japan's former Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto makes a keynote speech at the third Plenary of the Commission on Global Aging at a hotel in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward on Aug. 28. Policy-makers, academics and other experts from Japan, the United States and Europe will discuss six major topics such as structural reform in aging societies, and present proposals at the end of the session on Aug. 29.
