(2)Japan to issue World Cup commemorative coins next spring+
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows a 1,000-yen silver coin to be issued by the Finance Ministry next spring to commemorate the 2002 World Cup soccer finals to be co-hosted by Japan and South Korea. The coin, weighing 31.1 grams and 40 mm in diameter, will have a trophy, cherry blossom and rose of Sharon, meant to symbolize each country, on the head with players and the emblem on the back.
