H-2A rocket launched successfully after delay
TANEGASHIMA, Japan - Japan's H-2A rocket lifts off Aug. 29 for the first time, after a series of problems caused the postponement of the launch originally scheduled for February. The 53-meter-long rocket blasted off from Tanegashima Space Center on the island of Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture, southwestern Japan.
