Buffaloes Rhodes hits Pacific League record homer

OSAKA, Japan - Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes outfielder Tuffy Rhodes hits a game-deciding solo homer, his 53rd of the season, over the right-center-field fence off Fukuoka Daiei Hawks reliever Shuji Yoshida in the bottom of the seventh inning at Osaka Dome on Sept. 9, breaking the 52 record homer for the Pacific League. The Buffaloes won 6-5.
