U.S. Navy starts towing Ehime Maru to shallower waters

HONOLULU, United States - The U.S. salvage vessel Rockwater 2 sails toward the shallow-water recovery site off Honolulu International Airport on Oct. 12, towing the Japanese fisheries training ship Ehime Maru, lifted from the deeper ocean floor where it had lain since being hit and sunk by a U.S. Navy submarine eight months ago. The relocation will allow divers to start searching for the remains of nine people missing from the accident.
