Taliban say 200 civilians killed by misdirected U.S. bomb
JALALABAD, Afghanistan - Photo shows the Khorum village near Jalalabad in the east of Afghanistan on Oct. 14. The same day, officials from the ruling Taliban took some foreign reporters, including one from Kyodo News, from Pakistan to the village, which was damaged by a bomb strike last week. They said up to 200 civilians may have been killed in the bomb strike, but the exact death toll was not independently confirmed.
