Last Russian group on visa-free trip leaves Hokkaido

NEMURO, Japan - A group of 75 Russian residents from three of the four disputed islands northeast of Hokkaido are seen off at Nemuro port, Hokkaido, on Oct. 17 as they leave after visiting Nagano Prefecture on a visa-free trip. The departure marks the last visa-free visit for Russians this year, the 10th year of the bilateral visa-free exchanges.
